Players Debut Pagel’s Horror Stage Book, Future Play

Conroe, TX – The Players Theatre Company is set to host local author Aaron Pagel this Friday, May 17th, for a special event celebrating the release of his new book, “The Horror Stage.” Community members are invited to The Owen Theatre to meet Pagel, get their copies signed, and learn more about his work.

The evening will feature a Q&A session, providing attendees with an opportunity to ask Pagel about his writing process and the inspirations behind his collection of spooky plays. There is also a possibility of a short reading from “The Horror Stage,” offering a glimpse into its chilling tales.

The event is scheduled from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at The Owen Theatre, located at 225 Metcalf Street in downtown Conroe.

This Conroe appearance is part of a larger book tour for Pagel, continuing through the spring and summer of 2024. Adding to the excitement, The Players Theatre Company is considering adapting one of the plays from “The Horror Stage” for a full production during their Fall 2025 season. This makes the upcoming author event a prime opportunity for local residents to become familiar with Pagel and his work before it potentially takes to the local stage.
