Free Summer Concert Series Offers Live Music in The Woodlands Through July

The Woodlands United Methodist Church is continuing its free Summer Concert Series, inviting the community to enjoy live music on select Sunday evenings through July 28th. Performances begin at 5 p.m. in the church’s Sanctuary, located at 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive, and are open to everyone without the need for tickets.

The series features a diverse lineup of acclaimed musicians. On Sunday, June 23rd, Grammy-nominated gospel artist Wintley Phipps will take the stage. Following this, the contemporary Christian duo “The Vigil Project” is scheduled to perform on Sunday, July 14th. The series will conclude on Sunday, July 28th, with a performance by the multi-Dove and Grammy-nominated group “Selah.”

This initiative is a part of the church’s Worship and Arts Ministry, overseen by Senior Associate Pastor Rev. Dr. Mark Sorensen. The concerts offer a unique opportunity for residents of The Woodlands and surrounding areas to experience high-quality musical performances in a welcoming, no-cost setting.
