THE WOODLANDS, TX – Literary enthusiasts in The Woodlands are invited to an evening with *New York Times* bestselling author Fiona Davis, who is set to appear in The Woodlands Author Series on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Known for her captivating historical fiction set against the backdrop of iconic New York City landmarks, Davis will discuss her latest novel, “The Spectacular,” and her acclaimed body of work.

The main event will take place at 7 p.m. at Christ Church United Methodist, located at 6363 Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands.

Fiona Davis has garnered a dedicated readership for her ability to weave intricate human stories into the historical grandeur of New York City’s architectural marvels. Her novels transport readers to different eras and settings, from the New York Public Library in “The Lions of Fifth Avenue” and Grand Central Terminal in “The Masterpiece” to the majestic Waldorf Astoria in “The Magnolia Palace.” Her newest release, “The Spectacular,” continues this signature style, immersing readers in the dazzling and demanding world of Radio City Music Hall in the 1950s, centering on the famed Rockettes.

Tickets officially went on sale back on April 30th and are anticipated to sell out quickly due to the author’s popularity.

This significant cultural event is proudly co-hosted by the Montgomery County Literary Arts Council, in partnership with the Montgomery County Memorial Library System and The John Cooper School.
