Slick City Park Anchors Woodlands Sports Complex

The Woodlands, TX – A monumental new indoor entertainment destination is taking shape in The Woodlands, with **Slick City Action Park** slated to open its doors in early 2026. This sprawling 100,000-square-foot facility is set to become the anchor tenant of the new Grand Central Park Sports Complex, promising an unprecedented array of inflatable attractions and an economic boost for Montgomery County.

Slick City Action Park will offer a dynamic, multi-level experience unlike anything currently available in the region. Visitors can anticipate an adrenaline-pumping lineup of activities including towering slides, challenging obstacle courses, dedicated sports courts, exhilarating trapeze swings, and even indoor zip lines. For its youngest guests, a comprehensive soft play area will provide a safe and engaging environment. The park will also feature extensive food and beverage options, along with multiple party rooms designed for special occasions and celebrations.

This marks Slick City’s highly anticipated Texas debut, following successful launches in cities such as Denver and Chicago. The brand’s expansion into The Woodlands underscores the area’s growing appeal as a family-friendly destination.

The inflatable adventure park is a key component of the much larger **Grand Central Park Sports Complex**, a 154-acre public-private partnership project between Montgomery County and Johnson Development Corp. This ambitious undertaking, located within Grand Central Park, carries an estimated price tag of $115 million and is currently under development. Beyond Slick City, the comprehensive complex will feature extensive outdoor sports fields catering to various athletic events and tournaments, as well as an additional entertainment venue, positioning it as a major regional draw for both residents and visitors.

Developers anticipate the entire Grand Central Park Sports Complex will significantly enhance the quality of life for local residents while also drawing substantial tourism to Montgomery County. The project is expected to create hundreds of new jobs, with Slick City alone projected to generate approximately 300 positions, providing a substantial economic boost to the local economy.

The Johnson Development Corp. is spearheading the overall vision and construction of the Grand Central Park Sports Complex, bringing this expansive recreational hub to fruition. With its strategic location and diverse offerings, the complex is poised to become a landmark destination for sports, recreation, and family entertainment in the Greater Houston area.

Area residents and visitors are encouraged to mark their calendars for early 2026, as Slick City Action Park prepares to open, promising a new era of high-energy fun in The Woodlands.
