**Lone Star College Opens Spring 2025 Registration for Adults 50+ Seeking Lifelong Learning and Community**

HOUSTON, TX – Lone Star College’s Academy for Lifelong Learning (ALL) officially opened registration for its Spring 2025 semester on December 19, extending a warm invitation to adults aged 50 and over to engage in a diverse range of non-credit courses and activities across its numerous Houston-area campuses.

The ALL program offers a unique opportunity for older adults to immerse themselves in continuous learning without the pressure of grades or academic requirements. Members can explore a rich curriculum covering topics from current events, finance, history, and technology to health and wellness, hobbies, and arts and crafts. Beyond the classroom, ALL is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community through organized educational field trips, social gatherings, special interest clubs, and various events, encouraging both intellectual and social engagement.

An annual membership fee for ALL is $25, which covers the period from September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025. While this fee grants access to the program and its core offerings, prospective members should note that some specific courses or activities may carry additional costs.

Accessibility is a key feature of the program, with activities conveniently available at all eight Lone Star College campuses and several university centers throughout the Houston area. Participating locations include LSC-Tomball, LSC-Creekside Center, LSC-Montgomery, LSC-University Park, LSC-CyFair, LSC-North Harris, LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Uptown, and LSC-Victory Center.

Jennifer Scrivener, director of the Academy for Lifelong Learning at LSC-Montgomery, emphasized the program’s significant value to the community. “ALL provides a wonderful opportunity for adults 50 and better to continue learning new things in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere without the pressure of grades,” Scrivener stated, highlighting the supportive and enriching environment ALL cultivates.

Interested individuals can register online or in person for the upcoming Spring 2025 semester.
