This isn’t merely the beloved story audiences remember from the classic television musical starring Julie Andrews or Whitney Houston. This production utilizes the updated 2013 Broadway script by Douglas Carter Beane, which imbues the enchanting tale with themes of kindness, empathy, and social justice, all while retaining the magical score and timeless romance.

Director Rebecca Crockett emphasizes the production’s central theme of “Amazingly Possible,” highlighting how the narrative, even with its fantastical elements, mirrors current conversations about character and societal change. “This version of *Cinderella* delves deeper into what it means to be truly good and to inspire change,” Crockett explains. “It’s a story about finding your voice and believing in the power of collective good, making it incredibly relevant for today’s audiences.”

Leading the talented cast is Isabella Benak as Cinderella, bringing a grounded and empathetic portrayal to the iconic role. Joseph Gagliano steps into the royal shoes of Prince Topher, whose journey of self-discovery extends beyond royal duties to encompass a genuine desire for societal betterment. Abigail Womack takes on the magical role of the Fairy Godmother, ready to grant wishes and impart wisdom.

The production also features Olivia Williams as the formidable Madame (the Stepmother), with Sarah Hinson and Sarah Taylor portraying the stepsisters, Gabrielle and Charlotte, respectively, whose characters gain new dimensions in this adaptation. A key addition to this version is Aaron Brown as Jean-Michel, a revolutionary figure whose presence underscores the themes of social reform. Jackson Brown rounds out the principal cast as Sebastian, the Prime Minister.

The creative team ensures a polished and engaging production, with musical direction by Lauren Pastorek bringing Rodgers and Hammerstein’s iconic score to life, and choreography by Nicole Harrison adding grace and spectacle. Crockett’s vision promises that while audiences will be treated to the magic and romance they expect, they will also leave with a renewed appreciation for the power of empathy and how even small acts of goodness can lead to “amazingly possible” outcomes.

The Class Act Theatre is renowned in The Woodlands community for fostering young talent and delivering high-quality theatrical productions. This staging of *Cinderella* continues their tradition of combining artistic excellence with meaningful storytelling, offering an enriching experience for all ages.
