Sensory-Friendly Cinderella Show by Class Act

**Class Act Productions Presents Sensory-Friendly “Cinderella” for Special Needs Community**

**Spring, TX** – Class Act Productions is set to enchant audiences of all abilities with “Amazingly Possible: Cinderella Class Act,” a special sensory-friendly theatrical production designed specifically for children and adults with special needs. The highly anticipated show will take place this Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Class Act Theatre, located at 25275 Buddle Road in Spring, TX 77380. Two performances are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

This unique initiative aims to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for every attendee. Understanding the diverse needs of its audience, Class Act Productions has implemented several adjustments. During the performance, patrons can expect “lights up, sound down” settings, ensuring a less overwhelming sensory experience. The venue will also offer fidget toys, noise-reducing headphones, and various sensory tools. For individuals who may need a break from the stimulation, a dedicated quiet room will be available as a calming space throughout the show. To further prepare visitors, a “social story” detailing the experience will be provided in advance, helping to reduce anxiety and set expectations.

A truly heartwarming aspect of “Amazingly Possible: Cinderella Class Act” is that many of the performers are participants from Class Act’s own “Amazingly Possible” program. This program empowers individuals with special needs to explore their creative talents and gain stage experience, fostering confidence and a sense of community.

“Our ‘Amazingly Possible’ program is at the heart of what we do, and seeing these incredible performers shine on stage in a production tailored for their peers is truly magical,” said Sarah Miller, Artistic Director for Class Act Productions. “We believe theater should be accessible to everyone, and this ‘Cinderella’ production embodies that commitment. It’s more than just a show; it’s an opportunity for inclusion, joy, and shared experience for families who might often find traditional theater settings challenging.”

Following each performance, the magic will continue with an interactive meet-and-greet session, allowing audience members to connect with the characters and capture memorable photo opportunities. This adds another layer of engagement, making the theatrical experience even more personal and memorable.

“For families like ours, finding inclusive entertainment options can be difficult,” commented Maria Rodriguez, a local parent whose child participates in Class Act’s programs. “The thought put into every detail, from the sensory adjustments to the quiet room, means we can truly relax and enjoy the show together. And seeing the performers from the ‘Amazingly Possible’ program is so inspiring; it shows what’s truly possible.”

Tickets for “Amazingly Possible: Cinderella Class Act” are free, underscoring Class Act’s dedication to removing barriers to arts participation. However, reservations are mandatory to ensure adequate seating and accommodations for all guests. Reservations became available on May 1st.

This meaningful community event is made possible through the generous support of The Humphreys Foundation, M&N Valve Company, and Class Act’s Board of Directors, all committed to fostering accessible and inclusive community theater experiences in Spring and the surrounding areas.
