PLANTERSVILLE, Texas – Bernhardt Winery is set to transform its picturesque grounds into a winter wonderland of local artistry and holiday cheer with the return of its much-anticipated “Christmas in the Country” shopping event. Kicking off Saturday, December 2nd, the annual market invites visitors to explore a unique collection of Texas wine-related gifts and handcrafted goods every weekend leading up to Christmas Day.

The festive market will be open Saturdays and Sundays throughout December, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., concluding on Sunday, December 24th. Located at 9043 County Road 204 in Plantersville, the event promises a quintessential Texas holiday experience for the whole family, with no admission fee to enter.

Each weekend will feature a diverse, rotating lineup of over 20 local Texas artisan vendors. Shoppers can expect to discover an array of unique items perfect for gifting, including custom jewelry, aromatic candles, original art pieces, delicious baked goods, charming home decor, and special Bernhardt Winery gift packages. From gourmet food items to handcrafted accessories, the market offers a chance to support local small businesses while finding truly one-of-a-kind presents.

Live Christmas music will fill the air, creating a joyful backdrop for holiday browsing. Families will delight in appearances by Santa Claus, who is scheduled to meet children and pose for photos every Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. A variety of local food trucks will also be on-site each weekend, offering a tempting selection of culinary options to satisfy all tastes.
