**Conroe Chamber Channels “The Godfather” for Annual Chairman’s Ball, Promises Roaring 1940s Casino Night**

**CONROE, TX –** The Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce is preparing to transport attendees back to the 1940s for its highly anticipated annual Chairman’s Ball, featuring a distinctive “The Godfather” theme complete with a thrilling casino night atmosphere. The black-tie optional gala is scheduled for **Saturday, January 28, 2017**, kicking off at 6 p.m. in the grand ballroom of The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.

This year’s ball promises an immersive experience, transforming the ballroom into a lavish, classic 1940s-era setting. Guests are strongly encouraged to embrace the iconic theme with “Godfather”-inspired attire, though traditional black tie is also welcome.

The evening is designed for both entertainment and unparalleled networking opportunities. Attendees can try their luck at a variety of casino-themed games, including roulette, blackjack, and craps, with play money exchanged for chances to win exciting prizes. Signature cocktails, specially crafted for the evening, will be served, complementing the live musical entertainment provided by the energetic band “Inspiration.”

Beyond the gaming tables, guests will have the chance to participate in both silent and live auctions. These auctions feature an array of unique items and experiences, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Chamber’s diverse programs, including small business development, advocacy initiatives, educational workshops, and community events that foster economic growth across the Conroe and Lake Conroe areas.

A highlight of the evening will be the recognition of outgoing Chairman Frank Robinson for his dedicated service and leadership. The Chamber will also officially welcome incoming Chairman Brian Bondy, who will outline his vision for the upcoming year.
