Conroe Doctor Stabbed, Woman Charged

CONROE – A Conroe doctor was reportedly stabbed multiple times at his April Sound subdivision home Sunday night, May 19th, leading to the arrest of a 54-year-old woman on Monday. Theresa Anne Fridrich has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the incident.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a 911 call around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday from Dr. Arfeen Khan, who reported being stabbed. Upon arrival at his residence, authorities found Dr. Khan suffering from multiple stab wounds to his chest, arm, and shoulder.

Fridrich, who allegedly fled the scene after the stabbing but later returned, was found still on the property by deputies. Officials stated the incident appears to have stemmed from an argument or domestic dispute between Fridrich and Dr. Khan. Another man was present at the home during the altercation but was not injured.

Dr. Khan was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Fridrich was arrested on Monday, May 20th, and booked into the Montgomery County Jail. Her bond has been set at $50,000.
