Conroe ISD to Host Extensive College and Career Fair This Friday
Conroe ISD is set to host a large-scale College and Career Fair this Friday, October 6th, 2023, offering a significant opportunity for students and community members to explore post-high school pathways. The event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Conroe ISD Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center (SMRC).
The fair is anticipated to be highly comprehensive, featuring over 175 colleges, universities, and military branches. While primarily designed for Conroe ISD high school students and their parents or guardians, the event is open and welcoming to anyone in the community interested in learning about various post-secondary options.
Attendees will have the invaluable chance to meet directly with representatives from these diverse institutions. This direct engagement provides a prime opportunity to ask crucial questions regarding admissions processes, learn about financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and gain a thorough understanding of campus life and available academic programs.
To ensure a smooth and efficient experience, especially when sharing information with prospective institutions, attendees are strongly encouraged to pre-register through StriveScan prior to arrival. Bringing a student ID will also help expedite the check-in process upon entry.
For parking, attendees should proceed to Woodforest Bank Stadium. Shuttle buses will be running continuously from the stadium to transport visitors directly to the SMRC. Bilingual assistance will also be available on-site to support all attendees. Admission to the College and Career Fair is completely free.
