Conroe Montgomery Fall & Halloween Events Oct 24-26

Conroe and Montgomery residents have a full slate of fall and Halloween-themed events to enjoy this upcoming weekend, offering everything from festive fall festivals to safe trick-or-treating options for all ages. The celebrations kick off Thursday, October 24th, and continue through Saturday, October 26th, across both communities.

The festive weekend begins on Thursday, October 24th, with the Conroe Police Department hosting their annual Cops & Goblins Trunk or Treat event. From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., families can visit Conroe City Hall, located at 300 West Davis Street, for a free and safe trick-or-treating experience. This is an excellent opportunity for children to collect candy and meet local officers in a friendly, community-oriented setting. Friday, October 25th, brings two distinct events to Conroe. The Conroe Family YMCA, situated at 10245 Owen Drive, will host Halloween at the Y from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This free event is open to both YMCA members and non-members, promising an evening filled with games, engaging activities, and plenty of candy. Also on Friday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Precinct 1 Commissioner Robert Walker invites the community to the Haunted Halloween Drive-Thru at Tamina Park, 19450 White Street, Conroe. This unique and free event allows families to drive through a route adorned with spooky scenes and receive candy, all from the comfort and safety of their vehicles. The bulk of the weekend’s festivities are scheduled for Saturday, October 26th, with major events in both Montgomery and Conroe.

In Historic Downtown Montgomery, the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce presents the Montgomery Fall Festival, running from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. This expansive event features a wide array of food trucks, diverse vendors, a dedicated kids zone, and a costume contest for all ages. Live music will entertain attendees throughout the day, with performances by The Posse from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by Southern County Line taking the stage from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission and parking are both free for this community celebration. Conroe also offers a family-friendly option on Saturday, October 26th, with a Trunk or Treat event at Heritage Park, located at 500 Collins Street.
