THE WOODLANDS, TX – Get ready, The Woodlands, because your late-night cravings are about to get a whole lot sweeter. Insomnia Cookies, the beloved chain famous for its warm, fresh-baked desserts delivered right to your door, is poised to open its first location in The Woodlands this summer.

Originally slated for a spring 2024 debut, the highly anticipated cookie shop is now expected to welcome customers sometime over the next few months, bringing its signature treats to 3307 College Park Drive, Suite 100. This prime spot positions Insomnia Cookies right in the heart of a bustling food corridor, nestled conveniently between popular eateries like Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and Mod Pizza, making it a go-to destination for a full meal and a perfect dessert.

For those unfamiliar with the phenomenon, Insomnia Cookies specializes in delivering warm cookies, brownies, custom cookie cakes, and ice cream straight to customers, often until the early hours of the morning. Its business model, which caters heavily to college students, shift workers, and anyone with a sudden sweet tooth, has earned it a loyal following nationwide. The Woodlands location is strategically situated near Lone Star College-Montgomery, perfectly tapping into this key demographic.

This new outpost is part of a significant expansion effort across the Houston metropolitan area. Franchisee Andrew Bell is at the helm of this growth, with plans to open a total of 10 Insomnia Cookies locations throughout the region.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring Insomnia Cookies’ unique experience to The Woodlands,” said Andrew Bell, franchisee for the Houston area. “This location on College Park Drive is strategically positioned to serve students, families, and night owls alike, and we can’t wait to become a sweet part of the community. We know The Woodlands appreciates quality and convenience, and that’s exactly what we aim to deliver.”

Insomnia Cookies boasts an impressive origin story, having started in 2003 when a college student at the University of Pennsylvania began baking and delivering cookies from his dorm room. Since then, the brand has exploded in popularity, growing to more than 260 locations worldwide, with a global presence in Canada and the United Kingdom.

The Woodlands store will offer both pickup and late-night delivery services, typically operating until 1 AM or 3 AM on weekends, ensuring that dessert is always just a few clicks away. While specific grand opening details and special promotions are yet to be announced, anticipation is already building for the arrival of these warm, gooey treats.
