Montgomery Prepares for Pivotal Mayoral Election: Incumbent Faces Two Challengers on May 4

The City of Montgomery is gearing up for a highly anticipated mayoral election on Saturday, May 4, 2024, as three distinct candidates vie for the top leadership position. Voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballots for incumbent Mayor Sara Countryman or challengers Alan K. Watson and T.J. Wilkerson, with issues of growth, infrastructure, and the preservation of the city’s historic character dominating the campaign dialogue.

For those planning to vote, early voting for this election is scheduled to run from Monday, April 22, through Tuesday, April 30. Early voting will be conducted at Montgomery City Hall, located at 101 Old Plantersville Road, Montgomery, TX 77356.
