**MONTGOMERY, TX – December 6, 2023** – Montgomery’s dining and entertainment scene has a vibrant new addition with the official opening of Parrot’s Nest Bar & Grill. The much-anticipated establishment, located at 23377 TX-105, officially opened its doors to the public on December 2nd, breathing new life into the expansive, over 10,000-square-foot building that previously housed Golden Corral and had been vacant since 2020.

Owners Ron and Cindy Baker are the visionary force behind Parrot’s Nest. Their six-month renovation journey has transformed the former buffet hall into a tropical oasis, designed to transport patrons to a relaxed, island-inspired setting. The interior now boasts a lively ambiance, complete with lush palm trees, vibrant colors, and an array of playful parrot-themed décor.

“We saw a real opportunity in this location and knew we could create something truly special for Montgomery,” said Ron Baker, co-owner of Parrot’s Nest. “Our goal was to design a place where people could come to escape, unwind, and enjoy good food and company in a fun, laid-back atmosphere. We poured our hearts into every detail of the renovation, from the custom bar to the themed décor, to ensure it felt like a genuine tropical getaway.”

The culinary offerings at Parrot’s Nest are as diverse as its decor. The extensive menu is crafted to appeal to a wide range of palates, featuring classic American comfort food alongside fresh seafood options and hearty steaks. Diners can choose from gourmet burgers, handcrafted pizzas, an array of seafood dishes, and carefully prepared steaks, complemented by a solid selection of appetizers, fresh salads, and satisfying sandwiches.
