**The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra Celebrates “Season of Wonder” Conclusion, Announces 12th Anniversary Season**

The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra (WSO) recently concluded its acclaimed “Season of Wonder” with a special celebratory event on May 18, 2024, at the elegant Woodlands Resort. The evening served as both a reflection on the orchestra’s achievements and an exciting prelude to its upcoming 12th anniversary season, set to launch this fall.

Attendees at the May event were treated to a captivating program featuring performances by Grammy-nominated jazz vocalist David Caceres and Broadway veteran Kristen Hertzenberg, known for her roles in “Phantom of the Opera” and “Spamalot.” They were joined by other accomplished singers from Broadway, film, and television, creating a memorable night in recognition of the WSO’s commitment to musical excellence and community enrichment.

Looking ahead, the WSO is preparing to embark on its 12th anniversary season, officially commencing on October 19, 2024. The 2024-2025 season schedule includes:

* **Phantom of the Orchestra:** October 19, 2024, at The John Cooper School. This Halloween-themed opener promises a thrilling program blending classical pieces with suspenseful film scores, perfect for ushering in the spooky season.
* **Christmas Wonderland:** December 14, 2024, at Christ Church United Methodist. A festive holiday concert filled with beloved carols and seasonal favorites, designed to spread cheer and capture the magic of Christmas.
* **Pops: An Evening with George Gershwin:** February 15, 2025, at Christ Church United Methodist. A tribute to one of America’s most iconic composers, featuring the orchestra’s vibrant interpretations of Gershwin’s classic melodies and jazz-infused works.
* **Season Finale: Hollywood:** April 5, 2025, at The John Cooper School. A grand conclusion to the season, celebrating the timeless scores from the silver screen, transporting audiences through the golden age of cinema and beyond.
