James Scott Johnston

James Scott Johnston, 49, of Conroe, Texas, passed away on August 19, 2026 after his battle to cancer. He was born on March 15, 1977, in Rockdale, Texas.

There will be so many things people will remember about James, the strong love he had for those he loved, the stubbornness, the music, the color guard, the Longhorns, the friendships, the laughter, and the adventures he was always looking toward. But most of all, people will remember. He had his own way of doing things. He wasn't trying to be perfect. He was simply James and that was more than enough.

James, you were loved. You will be missed more than words can say.

James leaves behind his mother, Sharon Raschke, and stepfather, Don Raschke; his father, James Johnston, and stepmother, Susan Johnston; his brother, Derek Johnston; and his sister, Tuesday Watson. He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Hailey Jackson.
