Jo Nell Hazlewood

On September 12, 2026, Jo Nell Hazlewood ("Grandma Jo") passed away peacefully, having recently marked her 101st birthday. Jo was born on August 19, 1925, in Eastland, Texas, the second of seven children. After moving to Fort Worth, Jo - an avid lover of Big Band music and dancing - was introduced to Carroll and the two began what would ultimately become a 54-year marriage before his passing in 2000.
