Fleet Technician II

JOB SUMMARY The Fleet Technician II will perform a variety of tasks that vary in complexity and difficulty based on type of vehicle/equipment such as automotive, light/medium/heavy duty diesel trucks, fire apparatuses, heavy construction equipment such as cranes, dozers, excavators, loaders, pavers, rollers and farm/agricultural equipment as well as small equipment like motorcycles, ATV/UTV, boats, power generation and electrical golf carts, light/messaging equipment. Jobs, such as maintenance inspections and light repairs involve minor adjustments, testing, measuring and/or replacement of parts and components. Major repairs involve recondition and replace parts such as axles, pistons, bearing, gears, seals, valves, bushings and pumps.
