Maintenance Technician I (Water & Sewer)

JOB SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician I performs ordinary, labor-intensive tasks commonly related to water and sewer system construction and maintenance. Also assists operator in any way necessary to complete the job. Must be able to work on-call duty. Must be available to respond at any hour during an emergency when requested. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License or higher. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License within six months from hire date. Must be able to obtain a Class I sewer collection license and a Class D water license within one year of hire date.
