Conroe Art League Exhibition & Fundraiser
Conroe Art League's "Lines, Legends, & Limitless Talent" exhibition at Gallery at Madeley Plaza features 15 award-winning artists.
CONROE, Texas — Art enthusiasts and community supporters have until Saturday, March 2, to experience "Lines, Legends, & Limitless Talent," a curated exhibition currently transforming the Gallery at Madeley Plaza into a hub of creative philanthropy.
Hosted by the Conroe Art League, the showcase highlights the diverse technical capabilities of 15 of the league’s most distinguished award-winning artists. The collection spans a wide spectrum of visual media, featuring intricate sculptures, vibrant oil and acrylic paintings, delicate watercolors, experimental mixed media, and high-contrast photography.
Beyond the aesthetic appeal of the gallery, the exhibition serves a critical function for the local arts community. Each piece on display is available for acquisition, with all proceeds earmarked for the Conroe Art League’s Student Awards program and Scholarship Fund.
"This exhibition is a bridge between established talent and the next generation of creators," said a league spokesperson. "By purchasing a work from this collection, patrons aren't just decorating their homes; they are directly investing in the future of our local youth artists."
The initiative reflects the non-profit’s long-standing mission to foster art awareness and education. Since its founding in 1964, the Conroe Art League has evolved from a small collective into a central pillar of the Montgomery County arts scene, providing resources, studio space, and workshops for artists of all ages. The current scholarship fund is one of the league's most vital projects, helping to alleviate the financial barriers that often prevent young, promising artists from pursuing higher education in the arts.
The exhibition opened with a well-attended reception on January 27, which featured a performance by local musician Doug Bell and a curated selection of refreshments. Since that kickoff, the gallery has seen a steady stream of visitors interested in both the high caliber of the art and the charitable nature of the event.
The Gallery at Madeley Plaza is located at 1300 I-45 North in Conroe. Visitors have until March 2 to view the exhibition during standard operating hours, which are Wednesday through Saturday, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
