NEW CANEY, Texas — Residents of East Montgomery County have a new reason to celebrate as H-E-B officially prepares to open the doors of its highly anticipated Valley Ranch Town Center location. The San Antonio-based grocer will welcome shoppers to the 117,000-square-foot facility on Wednesday, November 8, at 6 a.m.
Located at 21360 Valley Ranch Parkway, the store sits at the high-traffic intersection of I-69 and the Grand Parkway. The opening marks a significant milestone for the rapidly growing New Caney area, effectively ending the commute for many residents who previously traveled to locations in Kingwood or Atascocita for their weekly grocery needs.
The new store is designed to serve as a comprehensive community hub. Beyond standard grocery aisles, the facility features an array of specialty departments, including a full-service pharmacy, an extensive fresh produce section, a meat market, and a seafood department. Signature H-E-B amenities such as an in-house tortilleria, a dedicated sushi bar, and a vibrant floral department will also be available to customers.
For those looking to upgrade their outdoor living spaces, the store includes a Texas Backyard department, which will stock patio furniture, grilling equipment, and BBQ pits. The site is further bolstered by an on-site H-E-B fuel station and a car wash, streamlining the shopping experience for busy families.
