Hertha Breaks Ground on $100M Conroe Iron Plant

Hertha Metals broke ground on Chalyx, a roughly $100M plant on FM 3082 beside its Conroe pilot plant. It will make high-purity iron for U.S. rare-earth magnets, coming online late 2027 with magnet-grade output in early 2028.
