Little Pookie Kids Co. Opens 2nd Conroe Store

CONROE, Texas — Little Pookie Kids Co., a popular Montgomery-based children's boutique, has officially expanded its footprint in Montgomery County. The brand celebrated the grand opening of its second location at 19283 I-45 S., Ste. 140, in Conroe on May 18th, marking a significant milestone for the growing small business.

Owner Stephanie Hernandez first introduced the Little Pookie brand to the region in October 2021, opening the flagship store at 14260 Liberty St., Ste. 100, in Montgomery. According to Hernandez, the decision to open a second storefront in Conroe was a direct response to the brand's loyal customer base.

We noticed that a large portion of our customers were consistently making the commute from Conroe to our Montgomery shop, Hernandez said. Bringing the boutique closer to them was the natural next step in our growth. We wanted to make our selection more accessible to the families who have supported us since day one.

Beyond serving as a traditional retail space, the new Conroe location is designed to function as a community gathering spot. Hernandez confirmed plans to host a series of community events and educational classes, aiming to turn the storefront into a local hub for parents and children alike.

The expansion comes as the Conroe and North Houston corridor continues to see significant growth in residential development, attracting a rising demographic of young families. By positioning the store along the I-45 corridor, Little Pookie Kids Co. is well-situated to capture the increased foot traffic from the surrounding residential hubs.
