Massage Therapist Arrested, Indecent Assault, More Victims

MAGNOLIA, Texas — A Magnolia massage therapist was taken into custody on Tuesday following allegations of sexual misconduct during a professional session, and local authorities are now working to determine if additional victims exist.
Benjamin Allen, 43, was arrested by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on February 20. He faces a charge of indecent assault, a Class A misdemeanor in the state of Texas.
The investigation began on February 19, when a client contacted law enforcement to report an assault that allegedly occurred earlier that day. The incident reportedly took place at Allen’s place of business, Benjamin Allen Massage, located at 7730 FM 1488, Suite 101, in Magnolia.
Following the initial report, deputies conducted an investigation into the circumstances of the session. Allen was apprehended the following day without incident and subsequently booked into the Montgomery County Jail. Court records indicate that a judge set his bond at $30,000. As of Wednesday, Allen had been released from custody following the posting of bond.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has expressed concern that the circumstances of this case may not be isolated. In a public statement issued Wednesday, officials urged anyone who believes they may have been a victim of similar conduct while receiving services at the business to contact investigators.
Detectives are specifically looking to establish a pattern of behavior and are encouraging past clients to come forward if they experienced any inappropriate contact or behavior during sessions with Allen.
