MAGNOLIA, Texas — Residents of Magnolia have a new reason to celebrate as the popular bakery chain Nothing Bundt Cakes has officially expanded into the area. The new location, situated at 10103 FM 1488, Suite 200, opened its doors in early June 2026, marking a significant addition to the bustling retail corridor at the intersection of FM 1488 and Kuykendahl Road.
The franchise is owned and operated by Greg and Trisha Thompson, a husband-and-wife team with extensive experience in the brand. The Magnolia storefront represents their fifth Nothing Bundt Cakes location in the region. Their journey with the bakery chain began in 2012 when they opened their inaugural store in The Woodlands. Since then, the couple has been instrumental in growing the brand's local footprint.
The new shop offers the full suite of Nothing Bundt Cakes’ signature baked goods. The menu features a variety of sizes designed for every occasion, including Bundtinis—bite-sized cakes sold by the dozen—personal-sized Bundtlets, and full-sized 8-inch and 10-inch cakes. For larger celebrations, the bakery also provides tiered cake options.
Customers can choose from a rotating selection of classic flavors, including chocolate chocolate chip, red velvet, white chocolate raspberry, lemon, confetti, carrot, classic vanilla, strawberry cream, and snickerdoodle. The bakery also caters to specific dietary needs with a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie option.
Beyond its primary focus on desserts, the Magnolia location serves as a comprehensive party resource, stocking a curated selection of greeting cards, balloons, candles, and seasonal party supplies.

The new bakery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store is closed on Sundays.
