Conroe Funds Downtown Lights, Catfish Festival

Conroe City Council approved $200K for new downtown holiday lights, replacing tree-damaging old ones with ground/pole-mounted displays by Nov 1. They also granted $20K to the Conroe Cajun Catfish Festival (Oct 13-15). Both HOT-funded efforts aim to boost tourism and revitalize downtown.
